When You Need To Be Sure
The air purifier market is currently confusing. Due to a lack of regulations, every supplier who offers "HEPA filters in a housing with a fan" becomes a specialist - most systems are untested.
A reference to a study or a CE declaration, which in most cases is a self-declaration, does not say anything about the effectiveness of the respective system with regard to the safe removal of pollutants.
For example, an institute for fluid mechanics cannot replace a laboratory that carries out real tests with viruses and bacteria. It can only prove the air distribution and circulation in rooms.
In public areas, therefore, only air purifiers should be used whose effectiveness has been proven by independent test laboratories that test with viruses, bacteria and pollutants.
The tests should relate directly to the product in question. Comparative assumptions or the reference to the standard of a filter say nothing about the real performance of the respective device! In the event of a problem, the operator should be able to provide evidence!
When comparing air purifiers, the question of a device-related test for viruses, bacteria, dust and odors as well as a test of the amount of air should be asked first!
The effectiveness of the ETS systems was tested in test cycles in independent laboratories with viruses, bacteria, dust and formaldehyde (= odor).
The specified air volume (CADR – Clean Air Delivery Rate) has also been confirmed and documented in tests.
The SGS Group is the world’s leading company in the areas of inspection, testing, verification and certification. Sier are considered the global benchmark for quality and integrity. With more than 89,000 employees, SGS operates a network of more than 2,600 branches and laboratories worldwide.
Independent laboratory tests
In order to permanently ensure the highest possible safety and the best possible air purification result, all ETS air purification systems have several independent stages.
ETS does not rely on outside studies or mere assumptions about individual components. The complete systems were tested in two independent laboratories. The results prove that the complete system achieves a better cleaning performance than a single filter.
The separation efficiency of the entire system was tested in the laboratory with > 99.99 %.
All test results can be queried and verified on the portals of the testing organizations at any time for their validity.
